I walked! I decided last night that I was going to get up and walk this morning and I did! I wore my post-op show because my foot is still too swollen for my sneaker. And my toes got unpleasantly wet from the dew on the grass on the canal path. But I walked the .7 miles to the locks and back (1.4 mi total). Not fast. But not limpingly slow ( Read more... )

Well, we survived Irene and then Lee. No damage to our house. Some water in the basement but no more than a regular rainstorm. Traffic is light this morning because Rt 611 just North and just South of us is closed. Lots is messed up. We were lucky again ( Read more... )
